Hello #SahabatData... BPS of West Sumba Regency has carried out an update of the March National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) Quarter I in both West Sumba Regency and Central Sumba Regency which took place from 1-6 February 2025.
During the updating of the census block content, officers conducted door-to-door visits to each house or residential building within the scope of the selected census block. This activity is important to ensure that the household sample frame used in the March Susenas and Quarter I Seruti is accurate and representative, so that the data produced can be relied on for planning and evaluating government development programs.
What are Susenas and Seruti??
The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is one of the important sources of household socio-economic data in Indonesia. In March 2025, Susenas data collection was carried out using the Core Questionnaire and the Consumption/Expenditure (KP) questionnaire.
Meanwhile, the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) is an activity carried out by BPS to collect data on household economic conditions on a quarterly basis. Seruti is carried out every quarter, with data collection on the value and pattern of income, consumption expenditure, non-consumption expenditure, investment, and household financial transactions. The aim is to find out the development of people's consumption expenditure patterns in each quarter.
