BPS of West Sumba Regency conducted training for field officers for the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) for the First Quarter of 2025. The training was conducted online for 3 days and offline for 1 day with 2 waves.
Susenas training is a series of activities held to prepare survey officers who will be involved in the implementation of the National Socio-Economic Survey. Susenas is a survey conducted routinely by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Indonesia to collect data on the social and economic conditions of the population.
This training covers various aspects, from understanding the objectives and methodology of the National Socio-Economic Survey to technical skills in conducting interviews, data processing, and reporting survey results. Survey officers will be given knowledge about questionnaire instruments, effective interview techniques, survey ethics, and data reporting procedures.
Through this training, it is hoped that survey officers can work professionally, follow established standard procedures, and provide valuable contributions in supporting the implementation of the National Socio-Economic Survey. The success of this training will have a positive impact on the accuracy and quality of the data collected, so that the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey can be the basis for better and more relevant policies for national development.
