Hello #SahabatData, West Sumba Regency Central Statistics Agency has carried out a Public Expose on People's Welfare Indicators with the theme "The Strategic Role of BPS in Providing People's Welfare Indicators".
This activity was held on Thursday, November 30 2023 in the Hall of the Pelita Waikabubak Hotel which was opened and closed directly by the Head of West Sumba Regency BPS. This activity was attended by resource persons from the Head of Bappelitbangda West Sumba, the Head of Tebara Village, and the Head of Bappelitbangda Central Sumba. The other participants who attended were West Sumba Regency BPS employees as well as several representatives from OPD both in West Sumba Regency and Central Sumba Regency.
People's welfare is the first mandate mentioned in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution, so it is the government's obligation to make it happen. The success of developing people's welfare must be able to be measured using various statistical indicators so that in the future people's welfare can be enjoyed and felt by all levels of society.
One of BPS's duties is to provide statistical data, including data on people's welfare. Hopefully, with this activity, it is hoped that it can provide an overview of the welfare of the people in West Sumba Regency and Central Sumba Regency.
